Section 116
Punishment for those who violate, cause or obstruct the deadline with Berit
The court may punish a person who commits the following acts with a fine of up to ten thousand rupees or imprisonment for a term of one month or both, upon initiating proceedings on the basis of the report of the concerned tameldar or on the complaint of someone:-
(a) If the deadline issued by the court is not complied with without reasonable cause,
(b) if he makes or causes to be delayed by making a false note or by false note,
(c) In case of opposition to serve the due date notice,
(d) In case of breaking or missing the deadline.
